The Legend of Turmaculus

Long, long ago all Neopets were created equal. There were no humans or faeries and all ruled themselves. Every once in a while there would be an attempt to rule, but none were successful. But one determined Turmac, known as Turmaculus, knew he could go further. He tricked the Island Mystic into giving him some growing potion. He began his raid in Neopia Central, and soon spread throughout all of Neopia. His threat was this, "Join and rule with me, or perish as a fool." Obviously, many soon joined for their lives and his army grew. Those that grew came to be known as Neopets. Those who refused-and lived-went into hiding. One day a group of faeries, led by Fyora, came across Neopia. Seeing the chaos they soon put an end to it. Turmaculus was overthrown, but there were still too many creatures running around to control. They created humans to take them on as pets. Seeing that things were better the small pets emerged. They took on the role of petpets to stay safe, but in reality they are planning a comeback. Some of them are slaves of evil pets, but others are being helped by pets who only grew to stay alive. When you stop by Turmaculus and happen to wake him be warned that he will eat your rebel. For now there is a somewhat balance, but soon petpets will rise again. Who will you join?
