To Billopan:
What is your opinion on the Council? (Who do you like the most, who stole your cheese last Christmas, so on so forth) -
fairy1973

I can't say I really have a favorite minion. As for my cheese, Fenn took it. I've already paid him back by adding a fur-removal tonic to his shampoo, though, so everything's fine. - Billopan

To the WHOLE Council:
How did you guys come up with your forum/neo names, and is there any special meaning behind them? (Disregarding those who use their real names on the forums, like Tater and Jessi; please answer for the neoname one though :D) -
esmivida

My mom came up with my forum name almost 29 years ago. And Cat came up with my neoname since it was originally her account. - Nathan

Since I have two names I'll do both. rebeljen was a long used internet name, and combines my nickname from high school with...well...my real name. Miraged was an account I created after I learned the wonders of he lab and wanted a second lab account. (I've had up to 5!!) All names I normally used were taken so I had to get creative. I liked the idea of illusions for a lab account, so I made up the word Miraged. That was the account I joined TNO under originally, and I tried for a while to keep the two account "lives" seperate. (Wordy, eh?) - Miraged

I created my account back when the draiks had just been released and chaos had ensued. Everywhere you turned, people were flailing around and screaming, "I NEED A DRAKE PLZ!!!!!11" Quite petrified by the whole ordeal, I got a phobia of the innocent creatures everyone so desired (draikaphobia, to be exact) and seeked refuge in my little asylum. I am still mildly draikaphobic, but my therapist insists I keep Dragaraul, my mutant draik, around until it completely wears off. - Jessi

Lucky me, my forum/neo name is the same so I only have to explain once. The first time I got onto the Internet the WNBA was just coming out and my favorite player was Sheryl Swoopes. When I tried to sign up for my first email account, the name airswoopes (her shoe line) was already taken. So I had to come up with something else. I added the WTR because of my favorite TV show. Any guesses which show that is? If you guessed, Walker, Texas Ranger you are right! Can't believe I just admitted I'm a Chuck Norris fan! *hides in horror* - Swoopes

People were too lazy to use my full name, so they came up with my forum name. Sooooo original!

I've always loved kitkat bars, so I twisted that into kitcat (cat for my name) and tacked on an ubercool underscore and two 00's to represent when the account was created... 2000. - Cat

To the WHOLE Council:
Were the forums originally created, or at first did you use the Guild Message Boards? -
fairy1973

I think everyone just chiseled their messages on stone tablets way back then. You'd have to ask Cat, though, she was around back then! (she's ancient!) *hides* - Nathan

I hear they conversed by alp horns... - Miraged

I wasn't around back then, but yes, the Guild Message Boards were used before Di created our lovely forums. - Jessi

As you can see from my whopping record of TWO posts on the Guild Message Board you can tell the boards weren't used when I joined or I was very quiet. - Swoopes

Acccctually - I knew no time that TNO did not have a forum - because I was not here from the beginning I do remember being the one to finally go - okay, stop talking on the message board 'cause we're just going to delete the messages... you can either love me or hate me for that. We had forums back then, but they weren't, well, mandatory for guild discussion...very quiet back then, it was. - Cat

To Nate:
Everyone at TNO has been dying to know ever since you announced your engagment, When's the wedding? Unless I missed something, I'm totally clueless... -
icy_flames11

You missed something. I announced the date of my wedding in several threads on the forums back before it happened. I was married back in April. - Nathan

If you do leave over the summer (or any time) and you have a job, is it held until you come back? Say you're gone for a week, will any temps get chosen? I recall someone bringing that up a while ago... - Tamora

It depends on the job. For example, if you're an Adoptee Checker (a job with a regulated schedule), we'd prefer it if you could possibly find a friend to do your checking while you're away, so that the work doesn't build up too much. However, if you're a Spam Buster (more of a sporadic kinda job), we have no trouble taking care of the work while you're gone. The safest way to go is just contact your job leader or a council member to let them know that you're away and, if anything else needs to be done, we'll let you know! - Jessi

Who in the council has the worst sense of humor? :) - Joy

How would we know? We never ever joke around! We're always very serious and working on... stuff. I, for instance, wouldn't dream of changing Cat's forum title to "flea food", and she wouldn't dream of making my council rank on Neopets "fluffy bunny." We're all much too serious to bother with humor! - Nathan

So, how often do you guys promote people? Is it whenever you feel like it or on a set date? - amandaluan

It depends on each specific Promotion Staff member. Some may choose to do it in a set schedule (weekly, monthly, etc.), while others--like me!--just do it whenever they notice someone cool in need of an upranking. Once I find one person, it's kind of like a chain reaction...I get into the PROMOTION ZONE! *woosh* - Jessi

I used to do like Jessi does, but now I have this super cool watch that beeps whenever it's time to promote someone. Of course... I did accidentally forget to take it off the last time I went swimming... maybe it's broken. - Nathan

It took a long time for my e-mail to get to me for registering, (It wasn't here while I was typing this, actually) how long does it usually take? - magsmiller

Activation e-mails come within the hour of your registering for most people, but some (for whatever reason), never come through. If you post on Forum Problems with the username you signed up with, and an administrator will do it by hand! Just check your junk mail folder for the e-mail before you post, as it often ends up there because of your filter settings. - Jessi
